Miscellany

Here you can find all the latest minutiae on the Stop Clown Porn Brigade, including sound bytes, newspaper articles, and other useless stuff!
For all your questions and concerns, visit our page of Frequently Asked Questions (and answers!)

March 2001:

  • Bob Freeman announces his attachment to our cause celebre on his internet talk show.

January 2001:

  • 1/30: SCPN opens the 3rd millenium with the Cause's TV debut! LA talk radio's weak-willed Larry Elder judges AGAINST THE CAUSE on Moral Court.
  • 1/20: Columbus, Ohio's Doc and Bryan interview Infozo. They were so great! Thanks to all the call-ins that made this interview so magical!
  • 1/13: Infozo and other SCPN members make an appearance at local freak-show Chattacon. Although the Cause was not received well by the angsty Ayn Rand fans, Infozo was able to walk away with the costume ball's "Public Awareness" award.

December 2000:

  • www.StopClownPornNow.org has received over 100,000 hits since its debut in June! Thank you! What a way to ring in the New Year!

  • Four SCPN members (3 not pictured above) travel to New Orleans to spread the Word on New Year's Eve. Infozo gave away T-shirts and accosted the crowd.

  • "Clown Porn/ Yep, It's Back" is the cover-tease for a quarter-page "article" in Stuff Magazine in which SCPN gets the last laugh.
  • 12/3: KTRS's Rick Sanborn interviews Infozo from St. Louis

November 2000: Publicity sits at a standstill. SCPN receives the fewest hits in its history.

  • 11/29: KDGS Power 93's Kidd Chris grants SCPN's second and lastNovember interview. Morale is low, and we can't remember how it went.
  • Sometime early November: LondonLive's Paul Coyte calls back to check up. Infozo tells the story of the Moral Court taping.

October 2000: We here at SCPN HQ haven't had much time to update the site, what with all the buzz going on: more radio interviews, a local Shriner Circus protest, and Infozo's upcoming daytime tv debut!

Radio Interviews:

  • 10/2: Bulldog informed the Isle of St. Martin of the Cause via his show and a crackly phone interview on Laser 101.
  • 10/2: Brian Whitman Morning Show from comedyworld.com. (This link points to the actual interview!)
  • 10/3: Willie, Stout, and some guy calling himself D-Mak from Denver KBPI's Locker Room.
  • 10/4: Educating the Canadians through CIFM's Leo Baggio out of British Columbia.
  • 10/6: Oklahoma City's KYIS Jack and Ron Show.
  • 10/10: KTYD Santa Barbara Early Show co-host Taylor admitted to once being a clown, but a healthy, porn-free clown! Yea Taylor!
  • 10/13: BBC LondonLive's Paul Coyte was kind enough to spread the word to our Old World friends, and even paid the tab on the international phonecall!

September 2000: We have received unprecedented press this month! The Word of the Cause is spreading across this great nation with fire and with fury! Sure, we had thought we had done a good job when we were listed on www.uglyinternet.com, but check this out!

  • YIL Article StopClownPornNow.org is in Yahoo Internet Life Magazine (October 2000)! Go to your local magazine vendor, open YIL from the back, and there we are on p. 180!
  • 9/22: Wireless Flash News publishes story on the Cause
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Wireless Flash) -- A kinky new subculture is giving new meaning to the phrase, "clowning around."
It's called "clown porn," and it features real clowns engaging in sex while wearing nothing but red noses and big floppy shoes [sic].
Now a Tennessee group called Stop Clown Porn Now is trying to draw media attention to the bizarre fetish.
The founder -- who calls himself "Infozo" -- claims clown porn is no laughing matter and is almost as bad as child pornography [sic].
Infozo says he fears some legitimate clowns are being drugged and forced into performing in the X-rated flicks, but so far no clowns have filed police reports concerning such treatment.
Although clown porn has yet to receive mainstream attention, the organization hopes to change that by starting a support group for clowns at stopclownpornnow.org
(repeated verbatim in Sex News Daily)
  • 9/26: Winstar Radio Wire follows suit, covering their asses after they missed the scoop:
What the kids these days really love is protest. They want to fight against something, and boy, we've got the cause for you. One of America's least-reported fights is the fight against clown porn. Yes, that's right, clown porn, films and videos where poor unfortunates [sic] clowns are forced to perform unspeakable acts of depravity. The group Stop Clown Porn Now wants it all to end. To learn about the good fight, you can check out their website, www.stopclownpornnow [sic].

Through this boon of publicity, Infozo and the Brigade have been able to spread the word through this great nation's radiowaves. Although skeptical at first of the mediocre morning DJ population and their propensity for pandering to the populist porn-loving hoi polloi, we here at SCPN HQ think the interviews went pretty well...

And, for those of you who are interested, SCPN.org has received circa 55,000 hits to date (9/26/00).

June 30, 2000: www.StopClownPornNow.org has received over 27,500 hits on the front page alone during the course of its opening month. Now that the initial rush for information on the Cause has ended, we must remember that the cause primarily belongs on the streets and not on the web. Please visit our ACT page to learn what you can do!

June 29, 2000: SCPN's Infozo was interviewed by Gene Ross' cohort at avn.com . The interviewer could not recall any instances of clownsploitation advocated by his organization, although a quick search of AVN's review archives brought a number of previously unrecognized examples of clown pornography to the surface.

June 21, 2000: We have been mentioned in Maxim online, which is written primarily for clowns.

June 18, 2000: We have been reviewed and indexed at www.janesguide.com, and offer them this reciprocal link under the understanding that they link to absolutely no clown pornography.

June 18, 2000: We have crossed the 10,000 viewers (and that's individual viewers) mark. The word, it doth spread!

June 13, 2000: over 4500 individuals visited www.StopClownPornNow.org, thanks to our listing at cruel.com and yahoo.com! The word is spreading: Let the Clown People Go! Many thanks to our visitors for their numerous helpful suggestions and inquiries.
